Teaching Experience: I've worked at a summer arts workshop for the past four years teaching theater to kids.
I want to be a tutor because I had (and still do have) teachers that can't seem to understand or relate to their students and as a result are incapable of teaching them. I know that having a student who has been there and is closer to your peer can be very beneficial in relating to you and helping you learn the material from a student's perspective. My strengths are in writing.
I'm an avid actor and film student. I'm in the country's premiere all-male comedy troupe where we write, sing, dance, and act all original material. I also acted in a short film which won "Best Short" at Sundance Film Festival in 2006. |
