Gender:Female
Preferred Subjects:Algebra, Economics, Finance/Accounting, SAT, German, Trigonometry, Geometry, Chemistry, Chinese, SAT Math, Calculus, and Organic Chemistry
Experience:I have tutored for the past year with the Penn Tutoring Center. My students range from freshmen to graduate students looking to fulfill pre-medicine requirements. Prior to Penn, I relief taught Physics at a high school for one semester. I have classroom experience as well as one on one experience. I like tutoring as it gives me an immense sense of satisfaction to help in the understanding of my students. I am extremely patient and seek to explain the same concept from multiple point of views.

My SAT scores are as follow: Verbal 760, Reasoning 780, Writing 730, German 770, Math II 800, Chemistry 800, Physics 790.

As a Chemical Engineering major, I have completed all the mathematics and science courses required at the undergraduate level and can definitely tutor them well. These include Calculus I-IV, Advanced Linear Algebra, Intro Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Intro Physics etc.
Hobbies:I love roller blading, ice skating, cycling and playing tennis. Just strolling downtown on a nice afternoon makes me happy.

I'm an MBA student and I met with Cynthia once for my upcoming Financial Accounting exam. She knew her stuff, but I had to slow her down several times to re-explain in non-technical terms how she got the answer. I found it distracting when her phone went off twice during my tutoring session, and was suprised when she started texting someone back. I did like how quick she was to set up an appointment. Overall I do recommend her.
