| Experience: | I currently tutor 10th grade students at University City High School in geometry for my Academically Based Community Service course that I am enrolled in. I have had experience tutoring students since I was in high school at Malvern Preparatory School. I have realized through my experience that a 1:1 ration between the student and teacher is the most effective way of getting the student to learn concepts. In a classroom, students may be overshadowed by others in the class and may not receive the attention they need to become proficient in a certain area of study. I find that a one-on-one teaching experience is what most students need to give them a push in the right direction.
I am a Philosophy, Politics, and Economics major at the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Economics. I have taken three levels of Calculus, Philosophy, Psychology, multiple Econ courses, etc. I took two biology courses while in high school and scored a 760 on the Bio-E SAT II. For any subject areas that I have not been exposed to recently I can brush up on the topics as long as I am given a general idea of what the student needs help with. I graduated with Business Honors from Malvern Prep and was an Academic All-American. I scored a 1950 on my SAT.

| Hobbies: | I was a Varsity athlete in both Swimming and Water Polo while in high school. I swam on the Varsity team for UPenn for one year and currently I am on the club water polo team. I am a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and I lifeguard also. |
